Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of beematra.net (the "Service") provided by BeeMatra ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

BeeMatra converts photos of real-world surfaces into seamless PBR texture sets (the "Materials") using an AI pipeline, via a web application and a developer API.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential.
• One person or organization per account; you are responsible for all activity under your account and keys.

3. Credits and billing

• The Service operates on a prepaid credit model. One credit = one material task, on the web app or the API.
• Credits are valid for 30 days from the moment they are granted; unused credits expire automatically and are cleared from your balance. Spending consumes the earliest-expiring batch first.
• Credits are non-refundable once purchased and credited to your account. Please choose your plan accordingly.
• If a task fails for technical reasons, the credit consumed by that task is refunded automatically.
• Subscriptions renew monthly via PayPal until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; credits already granted remain until their normal expiry. Prices may change with notice; active billing cycles are unaffected.
• Free credits (sign-up bonus) are provided "as is", carry the same 30-day validity, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

4. Acceptable use

• You may only upload photos that you own or have a license to use.
• You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, attempt to reverse-engineer or overload the Service, resell raw API access without agreement, or circumvent rate limits and credit accounting.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund for credits consumed in violation.

5. Your content and results

You retain rights to the photos you upload. You may use the generated Materials in your own projects, including commercial ones. We may store your uploads and results to operate your account history. We may display anonymized, aggregated statistics about Service usage, but we will not publish your uploaded photos or generated results without your permission.

6. API terms

• API access requires an active subscription and an API key generated in your Account.
• Rate limits apply (task creation and polling). Tasks billed at 1 credit each; failed tasks refunded.
• We may change API endpoints with reasonable notice; breaking changes will be announced on the Open Platform page.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Generated results depend on input quality and may not always meet expectations — please judge results before using them in production. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel subscriptions at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use remaining credits ends and data may be deleted per the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
